My cities in 2011.

Continuing a meme, below are my cities in 2011. As always, only cities where I spent a night count, the * means I visited multiple times on non-consecutive days, and the # in parentheses are the number of separate visits.

Philadelphia, PA
* New Orleans, LA (3)
Sherman, CT
* Scarsdale, NY (2)

Two questions for you:
1) Where did you go in 2011? (comment, and link to Your Cities in 2011, please!)
2) What cities should be on my 2012 list? (any thoughts as we plan our travels?)

For comparison: my cities in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010.

If that’s not enough, here are pictures of where I slept in 2008, 2009, and 2011.

    A cool idea made cooler by your consistently doing it every year. My travels are relatively small by comparison, but I’m looking to get out more in coming years. u00a0nn2011nRidgecrest, CAn* Indianapolis, IN (2)nCincinnati, OHnNorwalk, OHnCreede, COnn2012 (tentative)nRidgecrest, CAnToronto, ONn* Creede, CO (2)nBerlin, GermanynNorwalk, OHnHonolulu, HInn

    Awesome. Glad you chimed in with your list. And I’ll admit that I’m not a huge fan of the notation either, but it works for this simple goal :)

    Consistency matters! And it’s not a competition, so the number of cities isn’t important: it’s the reflection and forward-looking goals and ideas that is important. u00a0Hope you’re looking forward to 2012!

    We’ll fix that this year.

    Indeed it does. In a way, things like this are new traditions.nnTo me, the number of cities is important, because I would like to spend more time traveling to meet other gearheads, getting their stories in person, and then sharing them with the world.u00a0nnDefinitely looking forward to 2012. The best is yet to come.u00a0
