Vision is better, but we still need gear.

We all know “gear is good, vision is better,” but we still need gear to make images. Here’s what I use.

I firmly believe that “the best camera is the one that’s with you“; that said, we all have to choose what to carry with us. Here’s what I use.

And why do I carry a camera around with me, and spend most of my time looking for images taken and untaken?

Well, here’s why I love photography:

I love that it’s accessible, both to create and enjoy. It’s easy to enjoy, but challenging to master. It’s still evolving, changing as a form of art and expression. It’s boundless, open to a variety of interpretations and creative eyes. It has a set of rules, waiting to be broken.

But most importantly, photography is how I see, feel and think. And it’s how I share myself with the world.
