TribeCon 2011

Summaries and pictures from TribeCon 2011.

TribeCon 2011 marked the third annual TribeCon, a conference about communities and technology held in New Orleans, LA. Over the last three years, TribeCon has brought together a variety of local and national speakers in a heartfelt way that’s always felt more like a gathering than a conference. This year was Chris Schultz’s last year producing TribeCon, so time will tell to see if and how TribeCon continues on, but it will rest in my heart as a great chapter of my life regardless. Taking the cue of “celebrating endings the way we celebrate beginnings”, TribeCon 2011 was a great celebration of the community and an appropriate way to cap the conference, and the credit for that goes to Chris, Tiffany, and everyone else who contributed to producing and participating at TribeCon these last three years.

For more detail about this year’s TribeCon, read summaries by Andrew Hyde and Molly Oehmichen, read the TribeCon Impact Report, and view the rest of the photos.
