One photo event I’m looking forward to this year, PhotoNOLA 2010 in New Orleans, Dec 2 to 11, 2010.

In 2008 I just happened to be in New Orleans to see Bruce Davidson talk at PhotoNOLA 2008, but I missed PhotoNOLA in 2009 by a couple days. This year, I’m looking forward to supporting PhotoNOLA and hopefully catching a bit of the great annual festival of photography.

As announced by PhotoNOLA:

PhotoNOLA is an annual festival of photography in New Orleans, coordinated by the New Orleans Photo Alliance (NOPA) in partnership with galleries, museums and other venues citywide. The fifth annual festival takes place December 2-11, 2010 with broad ranging photography exhibitions on display throughout the month.

Tone of events, exhibits and workshops to attend, including a photowalk and a Slideluck Potshow for the adventurous types. Worth attending, to be sure.
