A couple months ago I reviewed David duChemin’s book VisionMongers: Making a Life and a Living in Photography. Since I prefer to share books rather than keep them, I’m going to mail this book to one person. Tell me why you want and I’ll choose one lucky person.

VisionMongers: Making a Life and a Living in Photography by David duChemin

I’ve loved David duChemin’s (@pixelatedimage) photography, vision and voice for a number of years. Last May in reviewed his book “Within The Frame”, and last month I reviewed his latest book “VisionMongers: Making a Life and a Living in Photography”.

I loved both books (check out my reviews for “Within The Frame” and “VisionMongers”), and although I’ve already given away “Within The Frame”, I’d like to share David’s VisionMongers with one person.

Leave a comment on this post, telling me why you’d like to have his book. I’ll pick my favorite response and I’ll mail it to you.* Cool?

* USA only, please :)

Note: I received a copy of this book from David duChemin. And now I’m passing on the love.

    I am getting serious in photography (http://www.flickr.com/mparekh), with a high tech career. I am seriously contemplating getting fulltime into photography, as I am in the midst of switching careers..

    This book should be very helpful to me :)

    I'm a student photographer, so I soak in ANY knowledge I can get… which would hopefully include this book. You saw the student part of that past sentence, so obviously a free book would be best. I also have the same book mentality you do- I like to read them, then past them on to someone else. So if i get this book, so will at least one other student at my school.

    Scott, thanks for leaving the comment. I decided to give the book to Elizabeth, but I wish you best of luck in your photography education (and thanks for the offer to continue passing it on!). I hope you're already following David's range of thoughts, ideas and education on his blog: http://www.pixelatedimage.com/blog/ and twitter: @pixelatedimage , because they are great places for free information and advice on how to make a living in photography.

    Manish, although I decided to give the book to Elizabeth, thanks for leaving the comment, and best of luck in switching careers. What's your plan? What's your specialty?

    A trade! Appealing to my inner desire for as much information as possible, and my love for continuing the circle of information, it's a deal. I'll drop you a line for exchange details…
