I’ve been in New Orleans for more than three weeks, yet I’ve only posted a couple photos.

Why?

A couple reasons.

One, I’ve been busy. Busy with creating a great new life. No vacillating here; instead, diving right into New Orleans to create small and grand adventures every day. No complaints (a massive understatement, btw).

Two, even though I’ve taken a lot of pictures, I haven’t been posting them here; instead, I’ve been posting them on flickr and contributing to the NOLAlicious tumblr photo site.

NOLAlicious, of course, is a new project launched with collaborators, fellow former-nomads and new-to-New-Orleans-residents Sloane Berrent and Carl Nelson. We’re new to town, eager to dive in, ready to explore everything that comes our way and dying to share what we find. As Sloane explains perfectly:

When we all did in fact land here by year’s end, we wanted to capture those experiences and share them. We wanted to force ourselves to continue to see New Orleans with a fresh perspective even after the initial newness wore off. NOLAlicious was born.

NOLAlicious is a weekly newsletter delivered every Tuesday, highlighting the best things to do, see, eat and do around town (with a little lagniappe thrown in). We also created a NOLAlicious photo site to help share our adventures and spark conversations about New Orleans.

It’s a work-in-progress: but then again, so are we. Let’s enjoy the ride.

Check out our announcement and join the journey: get signed up for the weekly NOLAlicious newsletter by clicking here.

Also, follow NOLAlicious on Twitter at @NOLAliciousness and on Facebook through the fan page. And if you have tips, please send them over to Sloane at sloane@nolalicious.com.
