Number 5,893 in my “Obscured Icons” series, the Golden Pavilion of Kinkaku-ji in Kyoto, Japan; following the notes from my distant tour guide Don Paul, creating and capturing my memories of Kyoto, and reminding myself of the obvious idiocy of attempting to create great images at noon with a stunningly bright, hot sun standing overhead.
