Awakened by the incessant chirping and repeated knocking into the window pane by a very determined cardinal, I lay in bed, the mind already spinning while the body begs to slip off to sleep for a couple more hours.
But instead, I share a thought and start a brief conversation as Chris and Sara note their own related experiences and I make a lame attempt at a joke. A snippet of micro-interactions with macro impacts; mighty changes in small doses.
And thus, in spite of my attempts to stave off awakening from an all-too-short slumber, my day begins, mind over matter as usual…
