Following up on my earlier post at being good at two different things, is it better to be good at two widely divergent or closely related things?

Personally, as an artist, I think like a businessman. As a businessman, I think like an artist.

Is it possible to truly meld the two? Or are the skill sets completely divergent? Can they build on each other? Or does it even matter?

I’m not sure… but I’m working to figure it out. I’m curious about other people’s experiences in trying to meld different interests…
