Kevin and I exchange emails almost every day comparing the media stories for the day churning through the UK and US media engines, comparing notes on the real news and banalities the media spits out every day on opposite sides of the pond. Each share a fair amount of blame for spending too much time hyping unimportant news, except I think the US often finds trouble finding time to cover real news and world events in between celebrity gossip and the current lost child.
