This past Monday was an typical start of the week for me in many ways, except for the trivial fact that it was my first Monday at work in 3 months.

Yes, 3 months. Taking a summer vacation is highly recommended. Have we forgotten the blissful joy of summer vacation? When was the last time we had the time and space from our life to return to the joys and passions that make us who we are?

3 months. Almost 1 month in Mexico, then 2 months driving around the USA and Canada. 12,796 miles, 54 days, 27 states, 2 provinces, many parks, some visits with good friends, and thousands of pictures (still working on the exact count, the estimate is about 2.5K).

I’m working on the gallery and the complete detail of the trip, but until then I have videos to tide you over.

Yes, I’m refreshed. But I’m also ready to be productive. Let’s go.
