Seven interpretations of the same words, through the lenses of different experiences. A Sloane Berrent and Taylor Davidson collaboration.

DAY 1 / Peace

Peace, Taylor Davidson
Sloane "Peace is like a moment of sunlight dancing on a windowsill. It can be fleeting but when you catch it just right, it takes your breathe away." Taylor "Early evening, everything cleaned, cooled off from the heat, in a comfortable place. Peace, at the end."

DAY 2 / Rejuvenate

Sloane "Rejuvinating the spirit is like watering plants - hard to find time and remember but crucial to thrive in any environment." Taylor "We can view empty, abandoned spaces as signs of failures, or opportunities for rejuvenation and success. Let's choose opportunities."

DAY 3 / Flow

Sloane "Through the night, through the garden, through the struggles and uncertainty we flow, seeking freedom from our constraints and wisdom of what lies ahead." Taylor "We find the flow by not searching for it, but by building the right environment around us and letting the flow find us. Forcing, grasping, these actions strangle and cut off the flow. Let go, press go, and the flow will come. And if it doesn't? Then we're pressing go on the wrong things :)"

DAY 4 / Kindness
Peace, Sloane Berrent

Sloane "Gentle kindness she took with her flowers, watering and protecting them from too much sun. As summers days start to grow shorter and some flowers began to wilt, others fought through the elements bursting with color and standing tall against their enemy, the dying light." Taylor "Shared enjoyment, the gift of a small indulgence, the kindness of the mothers, enjoying their snoballs as much as their children."

DAY 5 / Forward

Sloane "Faster! Faster!" She said, wind blowing through her hair looking out across the San Francisco bay and out into the distance." "Easy," he said. "We are always moving forward. Don't forget to stop and take it all in." "Ok." she said, "as long as we're together." Taylor "Winding, unknown around the bend, but forward, regardless."

DAY 6 / Palpable
Peace, Sloane Berrent

Sloane "The blues were bluer, the reds more red, the flowers sweeter and their smell more palpable and alive than ever. This, she thought, is love." Taylor "The intense frustration was palpable, hanging over his head, shouting through his silence. She reminded him that the path was there, and that the trees and their overgrown children blocking the path were only seasonal. And as he pushed through, he realized that yet again, she was right."

DAY 7 / Transcend
Peace, Sloane Berrent
Peace, Taylor Davidson
Sloane "They return, transcending time and overcoming struggle, triumphantly bearing gifts of their labor and love." Taylor "With signs pointing to the opportunities in the big, blue skies above, they saw the path, vision, and route to transcending everything, clearer and clearer, day by day."
